Les Dauphins is a Rhône Valley label that celebrates the sun-drenched character, convivial spirit, and timeless style of the southern Rhône. Crafted by Les Vignerons Ardéchois — a collective of growers with deep roots in the Drôme and Vaucluse — Les Dauphins captures the classic French bistro style in a polished, fruit-forward frame. Inspired by the Belle Époque and designed to echo the optimism of the early 20th century, the wines are generous, versatile, and true to their Mediterranean origins.

Sourced from hillside vineyards near Cairanne, Valréas, and the Enclave des Papes, the grapes grow in stony, limestone-rich soils under the mistral wind and bright southern sun. These conditions ripen Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre to optimal concentration while preserving freshness and aromatic lift. Farming practices are sustainable and cooperative-led, with a strong emphasis on vineyard biodiversity and traditional dry-farming techniques.

In the winery, the style is modern-traditional — fermentations are carried out in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve primary fruit, with ageing in concrete or older oak to add roundness and texture without obscuring varietal character. The winemaking approach focuses on purity and drinkability: nothing overworked, nothing masked.

The wines are juicy, supple, and classically styled. Côtes du Rhône Rouge leads with red berry, spice, and soft herbal notes, with Grenache providing warmth and roundness, Syrah adding pepper and dark fruit, and Mourvèdre grounding the blend. Rosé is dry and lively — strawberry, citrus peel, and a savoury edge — while Côtes du Rhône Blanc blends Grenache Blanc, Viognier, and Marsanne into a floral, stone-fruited wine with a fresh mineral finish. Across the range, the wines are expressive, food-friendly, and made to pour freely.

What defines Les Dauphins is its relaxed precision — wines made with care and heritage, but always served with a wink and a glass half-full.
