The 2024 Aile d'Argent is very fine. Silky, aromatic and brisk, the 2024 is impeccably done. White pepper, chalk, slate, mint, lemon peel and marzipan are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. Attractive tropical overtones from the Sauvignon Gris add lift. There's a bit more lees-stirring than in most years, and also a bit of malolactic fermentation, both of which work so well within the wine's framework.

Notes of pear, mint, flowers, citrus and boxwood preface the 2024 Aile d'Argent, a moderately weighted, rich and satiny wine that's ample, framed by bright acids with a gently green finish, a consequence of the vintage's climatology. This is a blend of 54.5% Sauvignon Blanc and the rest Sémillon with a pH of 3.05.

Pale silverish lemon colour. Honeysuckle, musky grapes, some wax and lemon peel on the nose. The palate is full of energy, but also has a waxy, supple texture. Very fine grained yet bold at the same time. Zesty but serious, with a long, citrus-fruit led finish accented with salty spice.
