The 2024 Fourcas Hosten has a light but clean and delineated nose, with black fruit, undergrowth and earthy scents unfolding in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly scrawny tannins on the entry and fresh acidity, but it is missing some fruit and grip on the finish. It's not bad overall, though early-drinking only.
The 2024 Fourcas Hosten is bright, punchy and exuberant. Red cherry fruit, rose petal, sweet spice and chalk give the 2024 plenty of forward appeal. All this needs is a bit more polish around the edges.
