The 2024 Moulin St Georges is showing quite nicely, offering up aromas of raspberries, cherries and spicy new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, tangy and mineral palate with a persistent, gently oak-inflected finish.

Bright ruby colour. The nose is chock full of juicy red fruits, vanilla bean and espresso here. The texture is silken and unforced, with light, powdery tannins and peppery red fruit. There is a strong wood char note on the finish, but this is lifted by zippy, zesty acidity that moves the fruit tones into notes of pressed red flowers.

Fragrant, grippy, lovely floral fragrance, gentle cumin and cloves, less density through the mid palate than in recent vintages bu they have captured the finesse and potential of the vintage, and you will not have to wait too long to drink. One to look out for if the prices are good. 3.6ph, 100% new oak, Philippe Baillarguet cellar master. Harvest 20 September to 5 October.

The 2024 Moulin Saint-Georges is all charm. Soft, plummy and forward, the 2024 offers up an attractive mix of blue/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, menthol and violet. There's a touch of sweet oak from the 100% new barrels, but the 2024 has enough depth to handle it. Pliant contours wrap it all together in style. This is another very pretty wine for the year. 2026 - 2034
